Community Resource Day Success: Collaboration between Walmart, DEHCC, and the Delaware Black Chamber of Commerce

We are thrilled to share the success of the collaborative effort between Walmart,  the Delaware Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (DEHCC), the Delaware Black Chamber of Commerce, which resulted in the organization of the impactful Community Resource Day held at the Walmart in New Castle. In the accompanying photo, from left to right, you can see Mr. Daniel Harris from Walmart, Dr. Ronaldo Tello from DEHCC, Ayanna Khan, Founder & President/CEO of the Delaware Black Chamber of Commerce (TM), and Coordinator Karen Lucas from DEHCC. The event saw various community organizations hosting informational tables, sharing valuable resources and opportunities with the community. Adding to the community spirit, the Hispanic American Association of Delaware’s youth leadership group LYLA dedicated their time volunteering to distribute hundreds of meals to visitors. This collaborative initiative reflects our commitment to fostering community engagement and providing essential resources for the betterment of all.

Éxito del Día de Recursos Comunitarios: Colaboración entre Walmart, Delaware Black Chamber of Commerce, y DEHCC

Estamos emocionados de compartir el éxito del esfuerzo colaborativo entre Walmart, la Cámara de Comercio Hispana de Delaware (DEHCC), y la Delaware Black Chamber of Commerce, que resultó en la organización del impactante Día de Recursos Comunitarios celebrado en el Walmart de New Castle. En la foto adjunta, de izquierda a derecha, se pueden ver al Sr. Daniel Harris de Walmart, al Dr. Ronaldo Tello de DEHCC, a Ayanna Khan, Fundadora y Presidenta / CEO de la Delaware Black Chamber of Commerce, y a la Coordinadora Karen Lucas de DEHCC. El evento contó con diversas organizaciones comunitarias que tenían mesas informativas, compartiendo recursos valiosos y oportunidades con la comunidad. Sumándose al espíritu comunitario, el grupo de liderazgo juvenil LYLA de la Asociación Hispano-Americana de Delaware dedicó su tiempo como voluntarios para distribuir cientos de comidas a los visitantes. Esta iniciativa colaborativa refleja nuestro compromiso de fomentar la participación comunitaria y proporcionar recursos esenciales para el beneficio de todos.
